BEIT TEHILAH (House of Praise) is the ministry house of Hebrew People in the heart of Switzerland.
In February of 2020 Ockert and Joelle were blessed with Abraham Levi, who brings joy to all, young and old, who come his way. They have experience much more connection to the people from the village and area through being out and about as a family. Abraham’s cuteness and love of people open doors for relationships in an amazing way. They pray and trust that all three of them can be used as tools in Abba’s hand, according to His will.
After a quieter season at the beginning of the year, the stream of guests has become stronger again. This means that they have people with them for Shabbat meals and have been receiving people for weekends and also for longer times of rest and prayer much more regularly.
In the past the house operated mostly on a self-catering basis. Recently, however, it became clear to them that it would bless people if they offered them breakfast and supper, so that they can rest more.
Although the Summer Camp Conference was online this year, they still received many people for meals, fellowship and the Zoom prayer times and teachings.
From time to time, they have a special program, like, for instance, during Biblical festivals and also the Hebrew-speaking-practice-weekend at the end of August.
Beit Tehilah is an excellent base for excursions and an outstanding place to get out into nature to enjoy Abba’s presence and to get a glimpse of His character. In the stillness and quiet of the place it is much easier to focus on Abba’s voice.
