Winter has arrived in Israel and although the nights are cold the days are still filled with sunshine.  We are still not able to receive any guests from the nations and we pray that soon this will change and Beit Chai will once again be filled with laughter and friendship building.  We have done a lot of work on the roof to prepare for the coming winter rains and we are grateful for the Father for giving us the strength and endurance to have been able to complete the work before the heavy rains start.

We have also built our own pizza oven which should be ready for use when our first guests arrive again.  Although we have not been able to receive any guests the Father has been very faithful in providing for our every need and we continue to trust Him for the future days.

As for Kol Kallah we continue to work and add additional teaching materials to our library to serve all the subscribed users.  We have also uploaded the very last recordings of Gerrit which were recorded on his last trip to Europe and also the last Dicipleship time that he hosted in Israel.

The titles of these teachings are:

  • Appointed Times
  • Living in the End Times

Also feel free to visit Kol Kallah’s website KolKallah.com to view the title of the month which is The key to understanding the Torah.  This teaching is an introduction to the Torah cycle and explains the importance of actively embracing the Word of God.  It is accessible to anybody without a subscription.

Our family: Since September we have been under a 2nd lock down which the government was slowly releasing but due to a recent increase in cases we have now entered our third lockdown.  Thankfully all our children except for Miriam are allowed to attend school while Miriam is still at home with distance learning. We are so grateful to the Father for helping the children with all the distance learning and continual adjustments as things change around them.  They are truly an inspiration to us on how to not let our circumstances determine our attitudes.  In the past few months Abigail had to have a lot of work done on her teeth and usually dental care in Israel is very expensive.  We are also so grateful that the Father has lead us to a clinic who trains student dentists and they were willing to do all of her dental work without any charge as a means to train their students. The students together with a prophesor then does the work on the children.  They have also agreed to give Miriam and Caleb a check up in the coming weeks.

So until we can once again receive you here in Beit Chai and share good food and good friendships we continue to trust the Father to prepare us so that we will be ready for the new season that He is bringing to us in His good time.

Blessings from Israel
